New Chinese Eatery Coming To Lenox Hill
The eatery will move into the long-vacant corner storefront where Cafe Fresco was until 2023.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — At long last, a new restaurant is coming soon to the corner of 67th Street and First Avenue in Lenox Hill.
According to posters recently added to the storefront, the new restaurant, called Mandarin Cafe, will serve "SPICY BOLD UNFORGETTABLE" Hunan cuisine at the corner eatery.

The restaurant overlooks St. Catherine's Park and is a quick walk to the many local hospitals in the area, making it the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat.

Located at 1239 First Ave., the eatery will move into the space briefly held by Unique Green, a deli that took the location over from the longstanding Cafe Fresco in 2023.

The restaurant is not open yet, and there does not seem to be a website or phone number for the eatery, but Patch will update this article when more information becomes available.
