2 Shot In Sunday Afternoon Chaos Near Wash Houses: Police
Police found two men with gunshot wounds when they responded to a 911 call reporting an assault in progress at 1761 3rd Avenue.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY – Even Sunday's storms couldn’t stop the shooting.
Two men were shot on Sunday afternoon near the New York City Housing Authority’s Washington Houses at 1761 3rd Avenue, police said.
The NYPD responded to a 911 call at approximately 3:45 p.m. on Sunday, where they found two 23-year-old men with gunshots wounds. One man was hit in the left arm and the right hip, the other in the right knee.

Both were brought to New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Hospital in stable condition.
No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
