22 Injured After Car Crashes Into Inwood Bar And Grill: NYPD
More than a 20 people were hurt after a car crashed into a popular Inwood bar Monday night, NYPD said. Everyone is expected to survive.

INWOOD, NY — More than 20 people were injured Monday night after a car crashed into a popular Inwood bar, an NYPD spokesperson told Patch.
The collision happened about 9 p.m. at the Inwood Bar & Grill at Broadway and West 204th Street, FDNY said.
Police told Patch that a Toyota was driving north on Broadway, when a sedan exited a gas station at West 204th Street and Broadway and collided with the rear of the car.

The driver of the Toyota lost control of his vehicle and went over the street curb into the front glass window of the Inwood Bar and Grill, police said. The sedan did not remain at the scene and was last seen driving northbound on Broadway, police said.
The driver of the Toyota didn't flee, and was taken to a local hospital in stable condition, police said.

A total of 22 people were injured, with three people refusing medical attention outside of the Inwood bar, and 19 getting transported to hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
The investigation remains ongoing.
