3 People Hurt In Inwood Residential Building Fire: FDNY
A blaze broke out Friday morning at 545 Academy St., in between Post and Nagle avenues, FDNY told Patch.

INWOOD, NY — Multiple people were injured in a residential building fire in Inwood on Friday morning, FDNY told Patch.
The blaze broke out around 7:50 a.m. on the top floor of a five-story building at 545 Academy St., FDNY said.
A total of 60 firefighters responded to the flames and were able to put it under control by 8:18 a.m., FDNY said.

The spokesperson told Patch there were three minor injuries, but did not give any more details.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
