"There was no loss of life, though some residents are being treated for smoke inhalation," Abreu tweeted. "A small number of units will be evacuated. We shared our contact information with residents onsite for anyone needing additional support."

Abreu also wrote that his office was in touch with the Red Cross to "ensure temporary housing for anyone displaced."

The FDNY is investigating the cause of the fire.
