WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — He wrote himself a prescription for a new ride. Police are searching for a man dressed like a doctor who drove a stranger's car out of a Washington Heights parking garage last month.
The man — wearing scrubs and a stethoscope around his neck — hopped into the empty and idling 2018 Honda Accord at about 2:45 p.m. on Aug. 9 at the Select Garage on Broadway near West 184th Street, according to the NYPD.
The medic drove the white sedan, which belonged to a 31-year-old man, out of the garage and headed in an unknown direction, police said.
