Gunfire In Wash Heights Sunday Morning Prompts NYPD Probe
The gunfire erupted about 3 a.m. Sunday on St. Nicholas Avenue, police said.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY - Gunfire on St. Nicholas Avenue in Washington Heights early Sunday has prompted an NYPD investigation, authorities said.
The shots rang out about 2:56 a.m. in front of 1352 St. Nicholas Ave., police said.
Witnesses told police they saw a man shoot a firearm at the location.
