WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY - A single gunshot round fired at a Washington Heights park Thursday afternoon has prompted a police investigation, according to the New York City Police Department said.

The shot was fired into the air around 4:45 p.m. at Holcombe Rucker Park by an unidentified man, police said.

The man who was reportedly behind the trigger remains at-large, police said. The accused is described as a male around 6 feet 3 inches tall. No age was provided.
