Inwood Film Festival 2023: Submissions Are Now Open
All of the participating films must be made in Washington Heights, Inwood, and the NW Bronx — or be made by Inwood locals.

INWOOD, NY — Inwood Art Works is now accepting submissions for the 2023 Inwood Film Festival.
All films must either be made in Inwood or its surrounding neighborhoods of Washington Heights, Spuyten Duyvil, Kingsbridge, and Riverdale, or created by past or present residents of Inwood.
Submissions are open from until Dec. 25 with a fee of $15, or $5 for students.

There is a late submission window from Dec. 26 to Jan. 15, but the required fee goes up to $30.
Filmmakers will then be told by Feb. 13, if their film has been selected.

The 2023 categories are short films under five minutes, short films under 25 minutes, feature films, student films, and web series.
"The Inwood Film Festival celebrates and showcases the Inwood community through the moving image, presenting independent films made in the neighborhood or by Inwood-based filmmakers," reads an About section on the Inwood film festival's website.
The full schedule for the upcoming festival will be announced in early 2023, along with the festival date.
