INWOOD, NY — For those interested in checking out and supporting local arts, the Inwood Film Festival is returning during the first week of June.
The festival will run for its fifth year from June 2nd to 5th.
"After two years of pandemic-related postponement, the Inwood Film Festival is back for 2022 — in-person and bigger than ever," reads the Inwood Film Festival website. "Over four days in June, you can see films made locally or by locals, highlighting the best of Northern Manhattan visual arts, and celebrate with all the artists at special events, forums, and our opening night gala."

The official film selection and schedule announcement party will take place on May 2 at Republica on Dyckman Street.
While the films aren't revealed yet, ticket selection is already available from $50 to $125.

The festival is organized by Inwood Art Works, which is a nonprofit with a "mission to create and curate professional performing and visual arts in Inwood and its surrounding community."
The festival will take place at the Campbell Sports Center on Broadway and 218th Street.
