Inwood Hill Turkey Trot Returns To Inwood Farm In 2023

Looking to make some room for a second helping of stuffing on Thanksgiving Day? Here's what to know about this year's Turkey Trot:

INWOOD, NY - Looking to make some room for a second helping of stuffing on Thanksgiving Day?

Inwood Farm is slated to host its annual Turkey Trot on Nov. 23 at 9 a.m. in Inwood, complete with awards for best costume for both humans and dogs. Bib pickup starts at 8 a.m. at the 218th Street entrance to the Inwood Farm.

Now in its fourth year, the 5K Turkey Trot attracts hundreds of walkers and runners to Inwood Hill Park each year.

"It's a great way for the community to come together, have fun, and celebrate the Thanksgiving spirit,” said Thomas R. Bosco, a community organizer behind the event.

While the event is free, any donations go directly to the Inwood Food Pantry at Good Shepherd Church.
