WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — Actor Tracy Morgan has been spotted driving through Washington Heights in his red Lamborgini with the top-down, which can only mean one thing, according to uptowner Andrew Castelli.

Said Castelli, "Spring has officially sprung."

Castelli snapped a photo of Morgan driving up Broadway toward West 163rd Street Sunday afternoon, he told Patch.

The photo, shared on Facebook earned dozens of likes and affirmations of Castelli's message that Morgan heralded the spring.

A representative for Morgan did not immediately respond to Patch's request for comment on his decision to put his top down.

This isn't the first time Morgan has cruised through the neighborhood.

Posts throughout the past couple of years on uptown Facebook pages have photographed the comedian and "30 Rock" star driving around the neighborhood on multiple occasions.

"We just saw him yesterday in the same car and he yelled at us YERRRRRR," an uptowner commented on an old post of Morgan in his red sports car. "A cool cat."

Uptown elected officials have also noticed the comedy star in the neighborhood.

"Tracy Morgan is in Dyckman every Sunday like its church!" Upper Manhattan Council Member Carmen De La Rosa told Patch. "I appreciate the love he always shows uptown. I hope he knows he has an open invitation to our community and our office."

"It would be great to discuss ways to bring more comedy and art to the young people in our community," she added.

Morgan has a house in Alpine, New Jersey, which would explain why many of the uptown sightings of the star are around the George Washington Bridge exit at 181st Street.

These sightings are almost always in the summertime, hopefully meaning that seeing Morgan out and about in his red sports car is a good indication that the warm weather is here to stay.

True to forecast, it was over 70 degrees on Friday and Saturday.

The Lamborgini isn't Morgan's only nice car, as the SNL star was involved in a fender bender in Hell's Kitchen in 2019 while driving his Bugatti. The basic model of which sells at a starting price of $3 million.

Morgan wasn't injured in the accident.
