Man Dies A Year After Hit And Run Collision In Inwood: Police
Felix Rosario Acosta, 63, was struck by a car on the day before Christmas last year at the corner of Nagle and Arden, police said.

INWOOD, NY — A man died at the end of October after getting hit by a car that fled the scene last year in Inwood, police announced on Thursday.
Felix Rosario Acosta, 63, was struck on Dec. 24, 2021, at the corner of Nagle Avenue and Arden Street, police said.
Investigation found that the White Plains resident was hit by a Mercedes Benz driving east as he crossed the uptown street, police said.

Acosta was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition, where he remained alive until Oct. 22, 2022, police said.
The driver fled the scene and has not been found, police said.
