Man Floating On Raft Smokes Hookah In Storm: Possibly The Heights
While it's unconfirmed, people are pointing to the Heights as the location of a man on a raft smoking hookah during Wednesday night's storm.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — Flooding, pounding rain and soaked pedestrians - those are the things New Yorkers likely expected to see out their window Wednesday night during one of the worst storms to hit the city in decades.
But Twitter user RobbieDigital88 spotted something completely unexpected: a man floating on a raft in a completely flooded street while smoking hookah.

While the tweet doesn't specify where in the city the video was taken — and it's difficult to tell from the footage where exactly the man is floating — people online are pointing their virtual fingers at Washington Heights as a possible location.

"Has to be Washington Heights: New York is underwater but this guy's living his best life," one person tweeted in response to the video.
Hookah is a single or multi-stemmed instrument for heating or vaporizing and then smoking generally either tobacco or flavored tobacco. There are more hookah bars in Upper Manhattan than in most other parts of the borough.

Another person wrote, "If that guy doesn't die of hepatitis, he should buy himself a lottery number. Oh and also, I'd bet my dog it's Washington Heights."

Washington Heights has the most mentions as the setting for where the floating man is making the most of the storm, but people online are also saying it might be somewhere in The Bronx or Jackson Heights, Queens.
