Man Jumped By Gun Wielding Trio In Bloody Uptown Attack: Police
A man was attacked and robbed of $2,000 in belongings by three men with a gun on Wednesday near Fairview Avenue and Wadsworth Terrace.

UPPER MANHATTAN, NY — A trio of attackers flashed a gun, punched a man until he lay bleeding on the concrete, and robbed him in a violent attack on Wednesday in Upper Manhattan, police said.
The mugging happened around 4:45 a.m. near Fairview Avenue and Wadsworth Terrace, police said.
A 28-year-old was walking down the street when he was approached by the three men, who displayed a gun and began punching him in the head, police said.

The three attackers then forcibly grabbed the man's wallet and cellphone, before fleeing the uptown street in a black sedan.
An NYPD spokesperson said the property removed is estimated at around $2,000.

The 28-year-old was rushed in stable condition to Allen-Pavillion hospital, police said.
Given that all the attackers were wearing hoods, the only description police initially released is that the individuals being searched for are between the ages of 20 and 30.
