Thieving Trio Robs Man Robbed Of $600 Headphones In Wash Heights: NYPD

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY - A man was robbed of $600 headphones by a thieving moped-mounted trio in Washington Heights last week, authorities said.

The 28-year-old victim was waiting for the bus in front of 500 West 181 Street on Sept. 12 about 6 p.m. when he was approached by three men, police said.

The men removed the victim’s headphones, valued at around $600, and fled the area on dark colored mopeds westbound on West 181 Street.

There were no reported injuries.
