Man Robbed At Gunpoint In Lobby Of Washington Heights Building: NYPD

A 60-year-old man recently had his watch and $300 in cash taken from him in a building near 188th Street, police said.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — A man was recently robbed at gunpoint inside the lobby of his building in Washington Heights, police said on Wednesday.

The 60-year-old was standing in a lobby near Audubon Avenue and West 188th Street, when a man approached him with a gun and forcibly took his watch and $300 in cash, police said.

The robber then fled south on Audubon Avenue, police said.

NYPD released a photo Tuesday of the man wanted in connection to the gunpoint robbery.
