Motorcycle Driver Dies In Uptown Highway Crash, Police Say
The motorcycle driver was ejected from his vehicle and struck a light post.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS-INWOOD, NY — A motorcyclist died Saturday in a one-vehicle crash on the Harlem River Parkway in Upper Manhattan, police said.
Floyd Branch, 59, crashed his 2017 Honda motorcycle into a center median on the Harlem River Parkway near West 155th Street on Saturday around 2:41 p.m., police said. The motorcylist was ejected from the bike during the crash and thrown into a light pole on the highway, police said.
Branch, an East Harlem resident, suffered severe injuries to his entire body and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, police said. His motorcycle struck a car heading south on the highway, but nobody else was injured.
