New Inwood Smoke Shop Robbed At Gunpoint: Police
A trio with a gun robbed a recently opened smoke shop at 4973 Broadway for roughly $1,500, police said.
INWOOD, NY — A newly opened Inwood smoke shop was recently robbed at gunpoint, police said.
Three peopled rushed into the Space Exotic Smoke Shop at 4973 Broadway on Sunday about 8:20 p.m. and pointed a gun at employees and a customer, police said on Wednesday.
The robbers then snatched $1,500 in cash and ran away, police said.

The smoke shop is directly next to the 207th Street A station and the popular Grandpa's Brick Oven Pizza. It replaced the decades-old Last Stop Convenience store at the address in March 2022.
NYPD have also connected the three people who robbed the Inwood store to two recent robberies in The Bronx.

In one of those cases the trio robbed a car wash, and in the other they robbed a bodega at gunpoint, police said.
NYPD describes the robbers as men in their 20s.
