Race To Deliver 4 Mile: In Central Park near 68th Street
Kicking off at 8 a.m. in Central Park, New York Road Runners organized a race that will give more than 5,000 runners the opportunity to raise awareness and funds for New Yorkers in need.
The race will raise money for God's Love We Deliver, a non-sectarian organization that delivered more than 10,000 meals each weekday to over 9,000 people last year.

Amaze Light Festival: Citi Field, Queens

Brooklyn Nets vs. Memphis Grizzlies: Barclays Center, Brooklyn

The second? Kyrie Irving is expected to make his much speculated return after being suspended by the team relating to comments he made after posting a link to an anti-semitic movie on his social media.
You can buy tickets on the Barclays Center's website.
Saturday + Sunday
Governor Island's Winter Village: Governor's Island
The popular Winter Village on Governor Island opened Thursday for the year.
It will remain open through February 2023, with winter-related activities, food and drink, games, fire-pits, and a massive ice skating rink.
