From a famous collection of holiday lights in Brooklyn to a Christmas Day basketball game in Manhattan, there is plenty to do around the city this weekend.

Saturday
Dycker Heights Christmas Lights: Dycker Heights, Brooklyn
There is no New York City enclave more famous for its commitment to Christmas lights than the annual tradition at Dycker Heights.

There aren't many opportunities left to see the famous lights are up through New Year's Eve.
The lights are displayed between 11th and 13 avenues from 83rd to 86th streets in Dycker Heights.

A Charlie Brown Christmas: Times Square, Manhattan
The holiday classic "A Charlie Brown Christmas" will hit the stage Saturday at the Palladium Times Square theater.
The show encompasses your favorite scenes from the original animated shot, while also expanding some of the story lines to hone in on the Christmas spirit.
There is a noon ad 4 p.m. show on Saturday.

Sunday
St. Patrick's Cathedral Midnight Mass: Midtown, Manhattan
Cardinal Timothy Dolan will lead a midnight Christmas mass at the iconic St. Patrick's Cathedral at Fifth Avenue between West 50th and 51st streets.
Multiple blocks around the church will be closed to traffic to allow for the crowds.

New York Knicks Christmas Day Game: Madison Square Garden
Christmas is always a major day for the NBA, and the New York Knicks will be in action against the Philadelphia 76ers on the holiday.
The game tips off at noon at Madison Square Garden.

Harlem Gospel Choir Christmas Day Matinee: Midtown, Manhattan
The world famous Harlem Gospel Choir is performing at Sony Hall at 235 W. 46th St. at 1:30 p.m.
The performance will feature a variety of holiday songs.

Hanukkah Family Fest: Crown Heights, Brooklyn
The Jewish Children's Museum is hosting a Hanukkah family festival on Sunday in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
There will be doughnut decorating and Hanukkah-themed interactive workshops.

Monday
The First Day Of Kwanzaa at the Brooklyn Children's Museum: Crown Heights
This will be the Brooklyn Children’s Museum 15th annual Kwanzaa celebration. This year, Celebrate Kwanzaa travels to 1960s New Orleans and features a jazz band quartet, Lindy Hop dance classes and performances, child-accessible theatrical readings of Maya Angelou’s biography.
