Person Hurt In Inwood Residential Building Fire: FDNY
A blaze broke late Monday night at 154 Vermilyea Ave., near West 207th Street, an FDNY spokesperson told Patch.

INWOOD, NY — A person was injured during an Inwood residential building fire that broke out late Monday night, an FDNY spokesperson told Patch.
The blaze ignited around 10:10 p.m. within an apartment at 154 Vermilyea Ave., near West 207th Street, FDNY said.
A total of 60 firefighters battled the flames at the six-story Inwood building, FDNY said.

The fire was under control shortly after 11 p.m., FDNY said.
There was one person hurt during the blaze, but they refused medical attention at the scene, FDNY said.
