Phone Snatcher Takes Credit Card On Wash Heights Shopping Spree: NYPD
The victim was using her phone in front of a Burger King when a moped driver snatched the device from her hands, police said.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — Cops are looking for the moped driver who snatched a phone wallet from a woman's hands and went on a shopping spree in Washington Heights, police said.
The 42-year-old woman was using her iPhone 11 outside a Burger King at 6007 Broadway in The Bronx when the moped mugger snatched it from her hands, according to the NYPD.
The driver sped north on Broadway leaving his victim unharmed, but robbed, police said.

The driver later used a credit card from the iPhone case to buy about $500 in goods from Samuel Boutique at 188 Audubon Ave. in Washington Heights, police said.
Police describe the suspect as having medium build and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a brown Pittsburgh Pirates baseball hat, a brown hooded sweatshirt and dark blue jeans.
