Stepping On Shoe On Subway Leads To Man Being Slashed, Police Say
A man was attacked by two woman after the incident, which police said was an accident.

INWOOD, NY – Stepping on a woman's shoe on the subway ended with a man being attacked and slashed with a box cutter as he tried to get off the uptown train, police said.
The victim, 24, accidentally stepped on a woman's foot on an A train as it neared 207th Street in Inwood just after noon on Wednesday, according to the NYPD. A second woman began to yell at him and the two tried to block him as he attempted to exit the train.
After he got past them, the two women followed the man into the station where one of them hit him several times with a purse. The other woman pulled out the box cutter and slashed him on the lower back and his right arm, police said.

The two women ran up the staircase and have not been arrested. The victim was taken to Allen Pavilion Hospital were he was treated and released.
The first woman is described as about 25, 5-foot-7 and 150 pounds with long brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a white tank top. Police said the woman with the box cutter was about 40, 5-foot-5 and 150 pounds with brown hair. She was wearing a purple shirt.
