Trio Responsible For 2 Inwood Gunpoint Robberies, Police Say

The two violent robberies happened at 170 Dyckman St. and 423 W. 203rd St. Police released a video on Wednesday of the suspects.

INWOOD, NY — Police are looking for three men wanted for two recent violent gunpoint robberies in Inwood.

The pair of robberies took place on Friday, and both involved three men using weapons and violence to snatch jewelry, cellphones, and wallets from people on or near Dyckman Street, police said.

The second robbery involved a stolen car.

Robbery No. 1: 2:15 a.m. at 170 Dyckman St. on Friday

Three men were standing in front of 170 Dyckman St., when a different trio of men walked up to them and pulled out guns, police said. One of the robbers then smashed a 32-year-old man in the head with the gun, before grabbing jewelry, cellphone, and a wallet from the three men, police said.

The three robbers then drove off in a silver SUV, police said. The three men that were robbed refused medical attention.

Robbery No. 2: 4 a.m. at 423 W. 203rd St. on Friday

A 44-year-old man was standing in front of his car at 423 W. 203rd. St, when three men in a silver SUV pulled up next to him, police said.

Two of the men jumped out of the car, displayed guns, and violently took the man's car keys, cellphone, and wallet, police said.

The pair of robbers then drove off with the man's 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 SUV, police said. There were no injuries reported.

NYPD released a video Wednesday of the three men wanted in connection to the Inwood robberies.
