Washington Heights Pharmacy Robbed At Gunpoint, Police Say
Two stickup men stole thousands in cash and bottles full of drugs such as percocet and oxycodone from the Audubon Avenue store.
WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — The NYPD is trying to identify two men who robbed a Washington Heights pharmacy at gunpoint and made off with $3,000 cash and bottles of prescription drugs, police said.
Two men entered the MNS Pharmacy on Audubon Avenue and West 167th Street on the afternoon of July 19 and flashed a gun at a 74-year-old pharmacist, police said. The men ordered the pharmacist to open a locked drug cabinet and then snatched bottles of pills containing drugs sch as percocet and oxycodone, police said. The robbers also allegedly stole a cellphone and $3,000 in cash before fleeing the scene in a black Audi sedan.
During the robbery the pharmacist was thrown to the ground, but the victim refused medical attention, police said.

Police released photos of the two men taken on store security cameras this week. Both robbers wore disguises and gloves during the stick up to conceal their identities.
