Where To Go Sledding In Washington Heights After The Snowfall
Before the snow melts in Washington Heights, here's a list from the Parks Department showing the best places to go sledding in the area.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — There's good news for Washington Heights families looking to get outside and enjoy the more than 5 inches of snow that were dumped on Manhattan this morning.
The Parks Department has a list of the best places to go sledding across the five boroughs — and the Manhattan list includes one park in Washington Heights and one in a nearby neighborhood.
The Washington Heights location is on Billings Lawn in Fort Tryon Park. The best way to get there is to enter the park from its southern end on Margaret Corbin Circle where Cabrini Boulevard and Fort Washington Avenue converge.

The other Upper Manhattan sledding locations recommended by the Parks Department isn't in Washington Heights, but it is nearby.
The city recommends a hill within St. Nicholas Park at 135th Street.
