Woman Punched In Face In Washington Heights, Police Say
Police are searching for the suspect in the random attack.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — Police are searching for a man who punched a 52-year-old woman in Washington Heights, New York City Police Department officials said on Thursday.
According to the NYPD, the victim was walking on West 186th Street between Overlook Terrace and Bennett Avenue when a man approached her and punched her in the face, knocking her to the ground on Jan. 10 at 9 a.m.
Then, the man ran away and the woman was rushed to New York Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center with a laceration to the face, police said.

Police are searching for the suspect, who they said is a man last seen wearing a camouflage jacket. No arrests have been made yet.
