Car Broken Into at Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park in Yorktown
The car's window was broken and a purse was stolen. Another vehicle parked in the same Lot 4 had damage to the locking mechanism.

Yorktown police officers responded to Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park on Monday to assist New York State Park Police with investigation of a vehicle break-in.
There was one car that was entered by force sometime between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. in Lot 4. The car's window was broken and a purse was stolen, Yorktown Lt. Robert Noble told Patch.
Another vehicle parked in Lot 4 had damage to the locking mechanism which appeared to have been tampered with," Noble said.

A criminal mischief report was written. Yorktown police searched the area, but there were no witnesses or suspects.
