'Casino Night and Dinner Dance' for Yorktown; Somers Blood Emergency Drive

1. 'Casino Night and Dinner Dance'

The Foundation for Excellence in Yorktown Education will honor three women –Monica Garrigan, Jane McCarthy and Donna D’Andrea of Yorktown's Relay For Life – during its annual 'Casino Night and Dinner Dance.' The March 2 event will feature dinner, dancing, open bar, casino tables, silent auction items. Click here for more details.

2. Blood Emergency Drive

The Somers Women's Club will host a blood drive on behalf of the New York Blood Center on Saturday, March 2 from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. at the Somers Intermediate School on Route 202.

Yorktown school board members will meet tonight at 7 p.m. at the Mildred E. Strang Middle School's cafeteria. Items on the agenda include a budget discussion on athletics, co-curricular, O&M and tax cap calculation.

4. Pied Piper Students 'Meet the Community'

5. Fro-Yo Fusion is Hiring

Fro-Yo Fusion (606 Route 6, Mahopac) is looking to hire high school juniors and seniors and college aged adults who are or will be attending college locally and can work after the summer ends. Prior work experience is preferred. If interested, just walk in and apply.
