Cops: Woman Removes Pocketbook Price Tag, Replaces it with Less Expensive
The woman was charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor. She was scheduled to appear in court on March 26.

A 47-year-old Cortlandt Manor woman faces criminal charges for removing the price tag from a pocketbook and replacing it with a price tag from a less expensive pocketbook, Yorktown police said.
Police said they responded to Sears on a theft complaint on Feb. 25. They revealed the woman had removed the price tag from a $75 pocketbook and replaced it with a tag for a less expensive bag, depriving Sears of $69.41, police said.
The woman was charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor. She was scheduled to appear in court on March 26.
