Couples Cook Together for Spring at Hilltop Hanover Farm

The Yorktown farm is offering residents an opportunity to register for a special couples cooking workshop. Each month a guest chef will host a cooking class featuring seasonal produce from the farm where you can learn how to make delicious, healthy and new recipes. Just bring a bottle of wine and enjoy the dinner together.

Chef March Walker of Birdsall House and Gleasons, Peekskill.
A Culinary Institute of America graduate Walker has worked in Manahattan at Bond St, Sono, and Gramercy Tavern, before rising to Executive Chef at Beppe Trattoria on 22nd and Park. His influences are in Japanese and Tuscan cuisine, and they may seem at first to be wildly different. He said he believes that they both taught him to focus on straightforward and balanced flavors, high quality ingredients, and as few components in a composed dish as possible. Applied to his own idea of American food, these lessons yield a cuisine that is delicious, attentive, and cleanly flavored without being fussy or pretentious.
