1. Book Fair Family Night

The Yorktown School District book fair family night is today at 5:30 p.m. at Mohansic Elementary School and it lasts until 7:30 p.m.
2. BOE Special Meeting

The Lakeland Board of Education will hold a special meeting today at 7:30 p.m. in the Lakeland Administration Building, 1086 East Main Street, Shrub Oak. There are no public comments at this meeting. They will be discussing the election of a BOCES board of trustee .
3. Yoga Interlude
Support Connection, Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides free support services to people affected by breast and ovarian cancer, are offering a yoga class. Attain a healthier and fuller life by harmonizing your mind, body and spirit through the practice of yoga. Class will be taught by Chun Kim Levin, a Board Certified Holistic Nurse and certified Prana yoga teacher who has been teaching yoga and practicing Holistic Health since 1997. For more information, call 914-962-6402. It's free to women living with cancer, and advance registration is required. A $10 fee is required at registration but will be returned upon attendance.
4. Adoptive Parent Group
An adoptive parent group will be held today at the Pleasantville Community Synagogue, 219 Bedford Rd, in Pleasantville, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The group is for singles and couples, before, during and after the adoption process. Find out how others have handled "sticky" situations and found support in their communities. Parent's groups are led by Ametz staff social worker, Marci Schwartz-Ruff. 5. Scrapbooking Card Class
A.C. Moore is holding a scrapbooking card class today from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A.C. Moore is located at 3333 Crompond Rd. in Yorktown Heights. The cost is $17 plus supplies. For more information call 914-734-4450.
