1. During the Town Board's public meeting today, there will be five public hearings on the proposed Master Fee law; the Tree Preservation Law; Stormwater Management and Erosion and Sediment Control; and Illicit Discharge, Connections and Activities law; and the Algonquin Gas Transmission. 

2. You can donate blood for the Red Cross not too far from Yorktown at the Harvey School, located on 260 Jay Street in Katonah.

3. The John C. Hart Library will hold a seminar "Learn to Use the Internet: Mouse Skills" at 10 a.m. It's a 45-min class. The library will also feature the art exhibit "Graven Images" by Adrienne Werle-Austermann. The wine reception is today from 2-4 p.m. but the exhibit will run until October 31.

4. There will be two college representatives at Yorktown High School today- from Manhattanville College an Mitchell College.

5. There is a Special Education PTA Meeting (SEPTA) for Lakeland School District. The membership kickoff meeting is at Lakeland High School at 7:30 p.m.
