3. Lakeland Teachers Tell Us Whey They Teach

The new school year in the welcomes a number of new faces to the district and familiar faces moving into new positions. During Lakeland’s first Superintendent’s Conference Day for the 2012-13 school year, the district showed a “Why do you teach?” video, which featured a number of Lakeland teachers. 4. Yorktown Musicians to Perform at Yorktown Fall Festival and Street Fair

The newly formed Yorktown Alumni Association Musicians who held their Inaugural Reunion Concert on Aug. 18 will be participating in the Yorktown Fall Festival and Street Fair on Oct. 7 (rain date is Oct. 8). More details .
