Blotter: DWI, Speeder Arrested for Drug and Weapon, Stolen Card Used for Xbox, Pot Bust
A round up of police activity from: Aug. 6- Aug. 12.

Friday, August 6
12:13 a.m. Police performed an Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) check. On August 5, at 11:45 p.m. Officer Mundy arrested two males at Murphy's, 355 Kear St. Drew B. Clayton, 19, of Katonah, was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument. Joseph M. Lema, 20, of Shrub Oak, was charged with criminal impersonation. Police said while conducting an Alcoholic Beverage Control Law compliance check at various bars, including Murphy's, found Clayton had a forged Connecticut driver's license, and Lema had impersonated a 21-year-old man in order to gain access to the bar. The men are due in court on September 7.
9:12 a.m. Police received a call from a Peach Court resident that there was credit card fraud. Officer Stephen Bobker responded. Someone used his credit card to buy $2,300 worth of merchandise from walmart.com. Walmart would not provide the suspects information.

10:48 a.m. Police received a criminal mischief call from Kmart, 355 Downing Dr, that there was damage to the fence along Saw Mill River Road sometime overnight.
11:15 a.m. A New Chalet Drive resident came to police headquarters to report credit card fraud. There were unauthorized debits to the resident's checking account- somebody made a purchase of $399.12 worth of Xbox live.

1:57 p.m. Police received a call from a resident that son was assaulted while at Murphy's on August 5. Investigation to continue.
3:50 p.m. Police received a call that a suspicious person was going door to door in the Ridge Street area in a possible town code violation. Officer Michael Kahn responded but upon arrival the subject was gone.
5 p.m. Police received a call that a tree was blocking the roadway at Old Crompond Road. Police officer Robert Doerr responded to the scene and was able to remove the tree off the roadway.
5:03 p.m. A High Meadow Lane resident reported to police that there is a camera watching her outside her home. Police officer Lawrence Paniccia responded and revealed that it was not a camera, but a light sensor. The complaint was unfounded.
5:39 p.m. Police arrested a 16-year-old male and a 16-year-old female, both of Peekskill. They are charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor. Their names are withheld due to their eligibility for youthful offender status. They teens allegedly stole $333 worth of merchandise from Macy's, police said. When confronted by security personnel, the subjects fled the scene and were later apprehended by officers in the area of Route 6. The suspects were released after posting $200 bail and are due in court on September 7.
7:45 p.m. Police received a call from Macy's, 700 Lee Blvd., about stolen items. Officers Scatola, Sansone, Paniccia, Laplaca and Shanahan responded to the scene. Arrests were made.
Saturday, August 712 a.m. Police received a smoke investigation report. The caller said there was a smell of smoke in the area of California Road, and believed the neighbor is burning something. Yorktown Fire Department was also dispatched. The YFD and Police Department were unable to find the smoke. There was no smell or sight of smoke.
1:52 a.m. Police received a noise complaint report. The caller reported hearing fireworks coming from Sylvan Glen Park Reserve, 2874 Grant Ave. Police officers Dillon and Dipietranto checked the area, but found nothing.
2:11 a.m. Police responded to Mallard Court because of requested help with intoxicated boyfriend who kept trying to get into his car to drive. Officers Sage and Dipietranto responded. The subject's uncle responded to the scene and drove the man home.
2:40 a.m. Police received a call from a Laurel Court resident stating that friend was assaulted in a bus. Two males were involved. The Emergency Medical Services were dispatched. Allegedly the one subject ran through the yard. One male was transported to the Hudson Valley Hospital Center via the Yorktown Volunteer Ambulance Corps sustaining minor facial injuries. An arrest will be on Tuesday, August 17.
6:44 a.m. Police responded to a Midget Lane residence after a report that a baby deer was stuck to the fence. The deer expired prior to police arrival. The highway department was called to pick up the deer.
12:51 p.m. Police were called to Yorktown High School, 2727 Crompond Road. The caller reported that a 19-year-old male suffered minor head injuries at the football field by the track. The Yorktown medics and Yorktown Volunteer Ambulance Corps were dispatched. He was transported to the Hudson Valley Hospital.
1:09 p.m. Police responded to a Farm Walk Road residence after the residential burglar alarm went off. Officers Bobker and O'rourke responded and determined the pet sitter set off the alarm in error.
3:11 p.m. Police responded to a report that a male was taking off his shirt in the woods in the area of Narath Court. Officers Kahn and Nicholson responded to the scene and determined the subject was an employee working on the grounds and there was no problem.
7:23 p.m. Police responded to a call from Sears, 600 Lee Blvd., that a male and a female fled Sears following a possible larceny. Police said the suspects got away.
10:21 p.m. A caller reported to police that a car that was made to look like a police car with emergency lights tried to pull him over on Marcy Street. Police officers Sansone and Paniccia responded to the scene, but did not find the subject.
Sunday, August 88:57 a.m. Police arrested Greg M. Bellamy, 19, of Yorktown, and charged him with driving while intoxicated, and driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or more, both unclassified misdemeanors. In addition, he was charged with speeding, a traffic violation. Police said they received a call from a motorist reporting an auto accident on Crompond Road near the Baldwin Road. Officer Michael Kahn was dispatched to the scene and following an investigation, he determined the suspect was speeding and operated the vehicle whole intoxicated. He is schedule to appear in court on September 7.
4:30 p.m. Police received a call from state police to assist with a subject who shot himself. He sustained non-life threatening injuries. State police and county police were on the scene at Lexington Avenue.
Monday, August 912:44 a.m. Police received a noise complaint call that teens were playing soccer in the parking lot of the Underhill Apartments Highway side, Underhill Avenue. Upon police arrival the teens were gone.
6:57 a.m. Police received a call that a girl was crying across the street and was asking for police at Blackberry Lane. Officers Grieve and Iacona responded. It was a domestic incident.
2:11 p.m. Police responded to a call in the area of Holmes Court residences. A father reported that his neighbor is constantly watching his 15-year-old twin daughters with binoculars and shines flashlights at them. The parents told police they were concerned about his actions. The complaint was unfounded. Person in question has no criminal background.
Tuesday, August 101 p.m. Police arrested John F. Troiani, 36, of Goldens Bridge, and charged him with second-degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor. On August 4, police officer Pavlevich was assigned to investigate an alleged violation of an order of protection. It was determined that John F. Troiani violated a Westchester Family Court temporary order of protection by going to his ex-wife's place of employment at CVS, 2000 Commerce Str. On August 10 he voluntarily surrendered himself. He is due in court on September 14.
2:45 p.m. Police received a call of a suspicious item being placed on the front lawn at East Main Street. Apparently the landscaper was cleaning the yard.
10:35 p.m. Police arrested Andrew L. Wallach, 20, of Yorktown, and charged him with unlawful possession of marijuana, a penal law violation. Officer Brian Mundy was investigating alleged suspicious activity in the rear parking lot of Chestnut Shell, which was reported by undercover cops. Allegedly, the suspect was in possession of one gram of marijuana, which was found in the center console of his parked vehicle. Wallach is due in court on September 14.
9:45 a.m. Police received a call about a brush fire at Turkey Mountain Park, 1100 Saw Mill River Rd. The police and fire department were dispatched and took care of the small brush fire.
4:42 p.m. A Barway Drive resident reported that his mailbox was damaged Saturday night, August 7, along with many other neighbors' property.
8:13 p.m. Police arrested a three males for narcotics. A 16-year-old was charged with criminal possession of marijuana and a controlled substance, most misdemeanors; another 16-year-old was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation; and an 18-year-old was charged with criminal possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor. The three males are from Yorktown Heights and their names are withheld due to their eligibility for youthful offender status. A plain clothes officer allegedly saw the defendants in a wooden area adjacent to the Saw Mill RIver Road near the intersection with Downing Drive who were smoking marijuana in a public view. In addition, one of them was in possession of cocaine. The males are due in court on September 14.
9 p.m. State Police arrested Giuseppe V. Marsala, 25, of Yorktown Heights, and charged him with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and unlawful possession of marijuana. After police stopped his vehicle on the Sprain Brook Parkway for speeding (doing 83 miles per hour in a 55 mph zone), he was found to be driving while impaired by drugs. During inventory of Marsala's vehicle, police found one expandable baton and one marijuana cigarette. They were seized and his vehicle was impounded. He is due in court on August 19 at 9 a.m. in the Yonkers City Court.
Thursday, August 122:54 p.m. A Longview Street resident reported a house fire. Police advised everybody to get out of the house. The fire department was dispatched and police responded to the scene and determined there was smoke in the house, but no fire.
