Competition Carting, Yorktown's garbage hauler, will be picking up kitchen refuse on President's Day, Monday, Feb. 18, and there will be no schedule change. However, recycling will not be collected on Monday.  The following holiday schedule is in effect: Sections 1 and 7 – recycling will be picked up on Tuesday Section 6 – recycling will be picked up on Wednesday Sections 2 and 3 – Thursday collection (no change) Sections 4 and 5 – Friday collection (no change) If you have any questions, call 914-248-1500.
