3. Yorktown School Budget Discussion

The Yorktown BOE members will meet on Monday, March 18 at 7 p.m. at the Mildred E. Strang Middle School cafeteria. Items on the agenda include a presentation on the proposed 2013-2014 budget.

5. Yorktown Photographer Exhibits at Library

Nancy Butterfield, a mom, pet groomer and photographer, is hosting a solo exhibit at the John C. Hart Library in Shrub Oak during the month of March. Photographs are open to the public for viewing and for sale during library hours. 

Butterfield has been living in Yorktown the past 25 years, and owns The Pink Dogue Pet Salon in Lincolndale. Her passion for photography started in her 20s. Since then she is been involved in many volunteer organizations in town. She was also the past Vice President of the Color Camera Club. The exhibit consists of flowers, abstracts, and landscapes.
