State Police: Yorktown Woman Steals Food From Wal-Mart

Jennifer Giorgio, 37, from Yorktown was arrested on Dec. 18 after she stole several food items from Wal-Mart, state police said.

State police responded to the Wal-Mart store in the Cortlandt Town Center for a shoplifter in custody at approximately 5:30 p.m. The store's Loss Prevention team observed the defendant taking the assorted food items and leaving the store without paying for the merchandise.  

Giorgio was charged with petit larceny and is due in the town of Cortlandt Court on Dec. 27 at 9 a.m.
