Yorktown Cops: Man, 29, Faces More Identity Theft Charges

A 29-year-old Cortlandt Manor man, who was arrested earlier this month for identity theft, is facing more felony charges in Yorktown, police said.

Police said the arrest stems from a Feb. 11 incident when the man used a forged credit card using the personal identifying information of another man to purchase $386.85 worth of merchandise.

Matthews was processed, released on previously posted bail and was scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on April 9.
The man was previously arrested on March 1 for having used a Yorktown woman's credit card information to spend $504 at Radio Shack and $386 at KMart, police said. He also used a Briarcliff Manor woman's credit card information and purchased a $322 video game.
