Yorktown Destination Imagination Teams Advance to State Competition

Two teams from Crompond Intermediate School and two teams from Mildred E. Strang Middle School placed second and students are now advancing to the state competition on April 13.

Several Yorktown students participated in the Regional Destination Imagination Competition with their teams on March 9 at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry. 

Two teams from Crompond Intermediate School and two teams from Mildred E. Strang Middle School placed second and students are now advancing to the state competition, which will be held on April 13 in Binghamton.

"Congratulations to all Yorktown teams on presenting their solutions in a creative and collaborative way," said Anna Maria Fazio, enrichment specialist at Crompond and Mohansic schools. "Great thanks to all of the team managers for their leadership and for giving the students the time and guidance that led to their success."
