Yorktown Man, 19, Charged with DWI

A 19-year-old Yorktown man has been charged with driving drunk, police said.
Christopher J. Garcia's vehicle was stopped on Route 132 on March 9 at around 2:10 a.m. after police observed him swerving across the double yellow lane marking, police said.
Investigation revealed the man was drunk and after submitting a breath test, police determined he had a blood alcohol content level of .08 percent or more.

Garcia was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor; driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 percent or more, misdemeanor; failure to maintain traffic lane, a violation.
He was released to a family member and scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on April 11.
