Yorktown Man Arrested for Breaking Car Window

A 19-year-old Yorktown man has been arrested for breaking a car window, Yorktown police said. 

Brandon Gladman was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor. 

On Saturday, police began investigating a complaint from a resident about a broken car window. Gladman was identified as a possible suspect and when he was interviewed at police headquarters, he was arrested for breaking the car window on Feb. 1 while the car was parked at the Yorktown Greene Shopping Center parking lot, police said.

Yorktown Justice Sal Lagonia issued an order of protection for the victim and released Gladman. He was scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Feb. 5.
