Yorktown's 'Sweet Charity;' Activity Brochure Available; Happy St. Patrick's Day

1. Yorktown Parks & Rec Activity Brochure is Now Online

You can find program registration for all programs including pre-school, half Day, full Day and specialty camps. Registration begins April 1 – hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Travel and adventure camp registration begins April 13. Registration hours are Saturday, April 13 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

2. YHS Musical "Sweet Charity"

Performances are Friday, March 15 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, March 16 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 17 at 2 p.m. Click here to buy tickets online!
Tickets will also be available at the door. 

3. Happy St. Patrick's Day

The upcoming St. Patrick's Day celebration on March 17 is special for Ashley E. Rooney for various reasons, but even more special because she now has a shop full of Irish gifts and crafts she can showcase. Click here for our story about her shop in Mohegan Lake.

4. Healthy Kids Day in Somers

The Community YMCA will celebrate YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day® with a free community event that encourages kids to get moving and learning, and families to live healthier lives. The Community Y’s Healthy Kids events take place at the Primrose School in Somers on Wednesday, April 10 from 4 p.m.t o 6 p.m. Click here for more details.

5. LHS Talent Show

Lakeland High School's SADD Students Against Destructive Decisions will hold a Talent Show on Friday, March 15 at 7 p.m.
