Yorktown Schedules Veterans Day Activities

YORKTOWN, NY — Yorktown’s annual Veterans Day Ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11.

It will be at Patriot’s Park behind town hall.

The annual Veterans Day Parade will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13 in Shrub Oak.

The parade will march down East Main Street from Lakeland High School to the World War II Memorial just past the Hart Library.

Groups wishing to march in the parade should contact Paul Martin of the American Legion at 914-980-5267 and meet at the high school at 1:40 p.m., organizers said.
