3-Alarm-Fire Engulfs Charlotte Strip Mall

The fire required dozens of firefighters to extinguish the flames.

CHARLOTTE, NC — A fire Saturday at a strip mall at 400 Bradford Drive escalated to a 3-alarm fire according to Charlotte Fire officials.

The blaze grew so swiftly that officials say 50 firefighters were called in to help fight the fire and it took over an hour to put out.

While no injuries were reported, extensive damage was done at the businesses in the strip mall.
