78-Year-Old Charlotte Man Reported Missing: CMPD

CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte police are asking for the community's help in locating a missing Charlotte man who has not been seen since Monday.

According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, David Crawford, 78, was last seen in his home in the 1600 block of Lasalle Street on Aug. 31 around 6:30 p.m.

"He was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a blue long sleeve, button-up shirt, and white sneakers," CMPD said. He is described as 5-foot, 5-inches tall, about 130 pounds, and has gray hair. He also walks hunched over, police said.

CMPD said he was possibly spotted in the University area Sept. 1.

CMPD asks that anyone with information about David Crawford's whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
