Scores range from the low 90s to perfect 100s, giving you a quick snapshot of how your neighborhood favorites are doing behind the scenes.
   

• Families seek justice as Charlotte cemetery faces lawsuit over burial record mix-ups (wsoctv.com) — Families in Charlotte are still waiting for a judge’s decision in a long-running lawsuit accusing York Memorial Park of losing burial records and misplacing graves. Relatives describe heartbreaking attempts to find loved ones’ resting places, while the cemetery’s attorney has declined comment. A related foundation has also taken ownership of a historic Charlotte cemetery, underscoring wider concerns about burial oversight.
   

• Her Christmas lights were going up. Then Border Patrol showed up (vpm.org) — A Charlotte homeowner’s holiday light installation turned into a tense encounter when Border Patrol agents unexpectedly questioned the two undocumented workers in her front yard, then abruptly left. She later described feeling terrified for the men and angry at what she saw as racial profiling, leaving her Christmas tree half-decorated as a symbol of the disruption.
