AMBER Alert Issued For North Carolina Baby
The Randolph County Sheriff's Office says the baby was taken by her mother who had no parental rights.
UPDATE: The baby has been found.
CHARLOTTE, NC — The Randolph County Sheriff's Office is looking for a baby abducted by her mother after losing her parental rights.
On Monday night, deputies responded to a call in Climax, NC where Matthew Pierce reported that his 1-year-old child, Ava Pierce was taken by her mother, Roxanne Michelle Parson, during a visit on December 1. A warrant for arrest for felony abduction of a child has been issued for Parson.

Ava has a medical condition that requires medication which she does not have according to the sheriff's department. Ava is described as a white female with brown hair and blue eyes. Ava was last seen wearing a white shirt and black pants.
