Back-To-School Immunization Clinic Set For Saturday: Details
Mecklenburg County Public Health is holding a back-to-school immunization clinic this weekend. Here's what you need to know.
CHARLOTTE, NC — Mecklenburg County Public Health is sponsoring an immunization clinic Saturday to help insure students are vaccinated for the new school year.
"Some Mecklenburg County schools started online back-to-school sessions this fall, making returning to the classrooms, for most families, a distant thought," MCPH said in a statement Thursday. "But, even students who receive their education through distance learning are still subject to state laws for required immunizations."
The back-to-school immunization clinic is set to take place Saturday, Sept. 12 at the Billingsley Road Health Department, which is located at 249 Billingsley Road in Charlotte.
